We’re proud to announce today that the Call of Duty Endowment has successfully placed 25,000 veterans into high-quality jobs! We set this ambitious goal in 2013 and surpassed it two years ahead of schedule, helping over 5,000 veterans find work since March 2016 alone.

To provide perspective, 25,000 veterans is equal to:

  • The total number of Navy recruits in 2015

  • Five Nimitz aircraft carrier crews

  • Six U.S. Army brigades

  • All U.S. troops deployed in South Korea

The vets we place are working in high-quality jobs with an average starting salary of more than $50,000. As a result, we’ve created over $1.35 billion in total economic value and helped companies across America learn the benefits that veterans bring to the workplace.

Despite hitting this major milestone, our work is far from finished. Thirteen percent of post-9/11 veterans are unemployed – that’s 2.6 times higher than the national average. So, the Endowment is going to double down and continue our hard work with a brand new goal in mind: increase the number of job placements for veterans to 50,000 by 2019.

We look forward to keeping you updated as we continue our journey to get vets back to work. Thanks for your ongoing support and stay tuned for some exciting announcements about what we have in store for the rest of this year!
